MIDDLE EAST
From April 1-11, a delegation of 15 Arab and Jewish young
leaders, coaches, and staff traveled to New York and
Washington, D.C. to share their stories of resilience, courage,
and hope with international audiences. There, young women met
with community leaders, supporters, and youth groups,
discovering along the way that their voices matter and that their
stories could inspire others.
Experiencing such an intense and meaningful week together
strengthened them as teammates and leaders. From leading a
youth session in Stamford, Connecticut, to connecting with
PeacePlayers Brooklyn and attending NBA games, the trip
highlighted the power of sport, dialogue, and youth leadership to
build bridges and inspire a more peaceful future.
“Beyond the personal growth, this experience deepened the bond between the girls
in our group. We shared our personal stories and developed even greater trust. We
came to understand the true power we hold as a group – to inspire hope and shift
perspectives. This trip strengthened my belief that coexistence, mutual
understanding, and true collaboration are not only possible – they are essential.”
