Every year in PeacePlayers programming made South African youth
23% more likely to stand up for people from other racial groups.
“One of the most powerful things I’ve seen at PeacePlayers South Africa is how
participants from very different backgrounds form friendships through basketball.
As they get to know each other, they begin to understand each other’s challenges
and become more willing to speak up for and support teammates from other
racial groups.“
