PeacePlayers’ partnership with the Detroit Pistons
and Vice Chairman Arn Tellem, who is also a member
of PeacePlayers’ Global Board of Directors. Since
2019, PeacePlayers has partnered with the Pistons in
launching basketball camps, a series of community
conversations and PeacePlayers’ Leadership
Development Program in Detroit.
Hosting the 2025 PeacePlayers Friendship Games
in Detroit is also made possible through private,
public, and philanthropic collaboration. Wayne
State University will play a key role by providing
dormitory housing and hosting events at the Wayne
State Fieldhouse. The support of the Detroit Sports
Commission, alongside philanthropic partners William
Davidson Foundation and Ralph C. Wilson Foundation,
will ensure the event’s overall success and positive
impact on the community.
